Discounts for multiple weeks and siblings. Sleeping Facilities: St. Andrew's College (est. 1899). Shared, private rooms in student residences. Specialized Programs: Goaltending, Power Skating, Instructional Video, Guest NHL & Pro Instructors, Fitness Testing, Sport Specific Dryland Training, Daily Goaltending & Shooting Clinics, Team Building, Counsellor In Training (CIT) Program. Pre-conditioning Programs. Body contact in all age divisions. Student Groupings: Ages 8-16 (birth years 1991 - 1999). Boys & Girls. Campers divided into 3 age divisions. Hours on Ice: 16 hours per week, 3 sessions per day including a Tournament game. Entertainment & Facilities: European Handball, New Zealand Cricket, Softball, Basketball, Swimming, Roller Hockey, Soft Lacrosse, Volleyball, Squash, Tennis, Video Games Room, Mini Golf, High & Low Ropes Course and Climbing Wall, Team Building, Projection Theatre with Telestrator, Movie Nights, Pro Shop. On Ice Facilities: Aurora Recreation Complex. Twin NHL-sized rinks. Opened in September 2005. Description: Roger Neilson's Hockey Camp is one of North America's pre-eminent hockey camps. Located on the historic campus of St. Andrew's College in Aurora, Ontario - the camp celebrates its 31st year in 2007. Providing day and residential programs for boys & girls ages 7 - 16 and specialty camps for established elite, junior and college players between the ages of 16 and 20. RNHC offers a balance of on and off-ice activities with a strong emphasis on team-building and leadership development. The camp's mandate is hard work with a heavy dose of fun! A fully accredited member of the Ontario Camping Association (OCA). |
