Jon Elkin started his school at 16 years of age as a part-time venture in Montreal where he grew up. He moved to Toronto 16 years ago to operate the school full-time. Since then the school has grown into the largest goalie school in the world. It operates year-round seven days per week including ten straight weeks in the summer where students congregate from all over the world. Jon was the Calgary Flames goalie coach for three seasons and has consulted teams in the AHL, WHL, QMJHL and the OHL. Elkin has coached 15 NHL goalies in total. More significantly, he has helped develop four goalies since a young age whom have gone on to play in the NHL. The school has many young goalies that are legitimate NHL prospects, including twenty who have been drafted in the last six years. Four more are rated for this year's 2007 NHL draft including the top two ranked OHL goalies. The 2008 NHL draft should be even more promising for our pupils with 4 underage students playing in the OHL this season. Jon is currently in his second season as the goalie coach for the Peterborough Petes, winning the OHL Championship last year.
